Background
Piedmont Gardens is a senior living community located in a unique urban area of Oakland called Piedmont Ave. The goal of the video was to capture the unique flavor and personality of the Piedmont Gardens community and, more specifically, the vibe of the eclectic neighborhood. Using B-roll footage previously shot by HumanGood, we used the 1959 Lloyd Price song “Personality” to drive the overview video. By using an upbeat tune from the audience’s teenage and young adult years, we enhanced the memorability of the video. The video is featured on the Piedmont Gardens community page and on HumanGood’s social media channels.
