For nearly 50 years, Valet Custom Cabinets and Closets has provided the San Francisco area with custom cabinetry and closet solutions personalized for each of its clients’ lifestyles and needs. Valet is known for creating functional and beautiful budget-minded spaces, and it came to SmartBug Media® for a website that reflects that functionality and beauty. SmartBug® created a website that celebrates Valet’s portfolio of designs and drives visitors to the company’s lookbook and onward to schedule a design consultation.
Creating a Clean, Light Design
To highlight new, lighter brand guidelines, we emphasized white space while also weaving in the logo throughout the site.
Focusing on Visual Storytelling
Our priority was to push site visitors into the project galleries and provide a seamless path from portfolio pages to the lookbook and additional resources.
Engineering the Experience
In order to preserve image quality while also providing an excellent user experience, our development team optimized the site by lazy loading images, so they only load fully when the user needs them.
Delivering UX-Driven Navigation
We created a “Your Space” mega menu with common spaces plus sub-navigation anchor text that links site visitors to examples of specific features in each space.
